10 days of vacation to kill

I have to tell you how this all started: the middle of summer vacation, with 10 days to kill.

I was working on personal projects to put my tech watch into practice. Having just finished v1 of a personal tool meant to kickstart my future projects faster, I needed a guinea pig project to test it all out. I actually already had an app idea in mind, one I'd searched for without ever finding it.

So I set myself the following challenge: build that app in 10 days. An app to chat, right now, about a specific topic, with someone who wanted the exact same thing as me.

Not build a "start of a website" like I'd done so many times before. Just the drive to see my ideas through to the end.

10 days later, it was right there in front of me: noctok.
